'Say no to luxurious marriages'

Nowadays it has became a fashion to spend maximum for conducting a marriage. Instead of spending crores of rupees to make a marriage luxurious we can extend a helping hand to the girls coming from the economically backward section of society, said actor Suresh Gopi.He was addressing the devotees after  inaugurating the newly built Oottupura of Thamaramkulangara Sree Dharmasastha Temple here. "If possible try to encourage mass marriages conducted by charitable trusts.  If we make the marriages of our wards in a simple manner we can spend a portion of the our earnings to meet the expense of marriages of poor girls," he said.“Temples and other worshipping places are the ultimate solution for the increasing problems of mankind,” he said. “While praying to the Almighty try to include our fellow beings also. Then the issues such as Mullaperiyar or any other interstate conflicts will never happen,” he said
